Winters at Lake Tahoe…heavenly.
Much has been said about the beauty of Lake Tahoe. Many have put pen and brush to paper attempting to capture our lady’s essence.
Her beauty changes and deepens, moment to moment, if one is observant. If you give yourself the gift of sitting long enough under the watchful gaze of her omnipotent cerulean sky, your questions cease to exist.
I have spent several years doing just this…sitting under trees, for days at a time.
Watching and silently witnessing through Vision Quests has brought me closer to a greater understanding of my relationship to this exceptional place.
Each opportunity I have to put my own brush to paper is an attempt to capture a spirit as she sings her sacred song.
Blankets of white provide a respite for this pristine landscape; a breathing space for rejuvenation and renewal.
